Cuckoo wrasse

Labrus Mixtus

It's a fish from the Labrus family. This species is generally solitary but young people live in couples. Females are orange in color, males are lighter, with a brown spot on the head.

Biology

The cuckoo wrasse is found where there are rocks and other hard substrates in the algal zone at depths of 2–200 metres, but are mainly found between 20–80 m.
